André is a versatile expert, immersed in achieving goals, who performs at his best while leading happy and successful teams and transforming organizations.

His vast experience ranges between the Banking, Retail, and Audio-visuals sectors in national and Iberian projects. Throughout his twenty+ years of professional experience, André helped create, lead, and coordinate IT projects, software development, process implementation, managing risk, quality assurance, security, hiring and developing teams, and transforming the way of work towards an agile world.

When he began his career in the banking sector at Banco BPI, André collaborated in several areas of the information systems department. While actively participating in the bank's digital transformation, he helped create the Digital Banking Department as a developer, architect, team leader, and Scrum Master.

As a director in Worten, the Portuguese biggest specialized retail company, André created and led several IT areas, such as Agile, Delivery, Quality Assurance, Cybersecurity, Procurement, and DevOps.

More recently, André decided to combine his management skills with an MBA from Porto Business School.
