Inês Godinho The Digital MBA
ADVENTUROUS EXECUTIVE HELPING PEOPLE REACHING THEIR FULL POTENTIAL
Inês is a People Development professional, enthusiastic storyteller and strong advocate of DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging).
Driven by the passion of developing talent and integrating diversity across cultures, Inês was far from imagining that her path would be dedicated to the Human Capital field when she graduated in Geophysics in 2003.
After working as a sciences Teacher and Academic Director for a few years, Inês moved to Africa in 2008 and left behind what everyone considered to be a 'job for life'. Fascinated by unleashing individuals’ potential and supporting people in their career growth, in Angola, Inês headed the implementation of transformational development programs for local talent and expats from multiple nationalities. For 6 years, and in intense social and human conditions, provided consultancy services on Talent Management & Development to enable organizational change and build capability of employees working in O&G multinationals.
With new cultures and ways of living on the horizon, Inês moved to the Middle East in 2014 to lead the design of onboarding solutions for 6000 employees joining mega turnarounds in the desert. In the United Arab Emirates since 2016, Inês has worked with more than 30 countries and 100+ nationalities. Currently, Inês works in Carrefour as the Learning and Development Director and is responsible for Corporate L&D Centre of Excellence & multiple Retail Business Schools across 17 geographies, helping more than 40,000 professionals finding their purpose and the way forward to a successful career.
Member of the D&I Council for Majid Al Futtaim Retail and founder of the Women in Retail initiative in Carrefour, Inês is also committed to drive the ESG agenda of the company and inspire other humans with DEIB best practices.
