EMPOWERED BY THE QUEST FOR KNOWLEDGE AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Claudio is a mechanical engineer at his core with a deep understanding of a company's functioning across several tiers, from the shop floor to management. 

His manufacturing experience started in high school with a CNC programming and machining course, entering the Worldskills competition and being considered one of the best in the world at that time.

Claudio started teaching other classmates after being invited by his former class coordinator. For over two years, he taught CNC programming and machining as well as CAM and CAD at CENFIM (both in Ermesinde and Porto). This experience in professional training that covered kids and grown-ups improved Claudio's capacity to go above and beyond, elevating his communication skills . On top of that, he studied at night and earned a licentiate degree and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in materials and manufacturing technologies. 

Claudio then shifted all of his focus to the manufacturing sector while finishing his master's and accepted his first production role as a Production Manager at ABER. Eventually, he left for a similar position at RICO, gathering tremendous experience for almost three and half years before enrolling in this International MBA.

After this job change, Claudio returned to teaching, but his main goal is to improve his managerial expertise with this MBA to pave the way to exciting new opportunities.
