With over five years of experience in consulting for financial entities, Jose is an enthusiastic Data Science Manager who appreciates engaging with different teams and departments to leverage technical capabilities and apply results-oriented strategies.

Since he was a child, Jose has always felt passionate about technology and math problems, which empowered his decision to study those disciplines by pursuing a double degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. In the later stages of both degrees' finalization, he felt compelled to put all the theoretical knowledge and acquired skills into practice and experiment with different work environments and projects. He then decided to join Management Solutions, a reputable consulting firm in Spain and a substantial international presence, helping Spanish financial entities in Data Analytics, Risk, and Reporting. 

After a couple of years, Jose seized an exciting new opportunity to grow personally and professionally while working in Texas, United States of America, for three years. During this period, he managed consultant teams while specializing in Customer Analytics and leading commercial initiatives with prospective clients. 

Jose has built a remarkably tangible picture of Data Science applied to a specific sector. However, his fierce curiosity drove him to participate in many conferences and events from other industries to meet with other people/specialists. These enriching and exciting experiences inspired Jose to enroll in this International MBA.

His mother is Portuguese, and Jose feels like Portugal is his second home, but he had never had the opportunity to live there, so going to the beautiful city of Porto was a full match. During the MBA program, he acquired fundamental knowledge across several industries and saw how vital it is to apply problem-solving, innovation, and people management in organizations.
