ON A CONTINUOUS SEARCH TO ANSWER SCIENCE MOST CRUCIAL QUESTIONS
Diana's work and leading experience in different international projects seek to deliver new and better solutions to the most complex healthcare/life science problems.
She is a high-level, successful, and innovative scientific researcher who helps improve, disseminate and advance scientific knowledge through highly proficient data analysis, communication, and results-oriented skills.
Her research career began when she felt an attraction to science and immunology grow while pursuing a master's degree at the University of Coimbra. Determined to develop and attain new skills related to this field, she obtained a Ph.D. fellowship funded by FCT (Science and Technology Foundation), thoroughly specializing her knowledge and skills in immunology. After complete the Ph.D. at the University of Porto, she accepted a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Minho, followed by a three year international experience at Trinity College Dublin in Ireland to further advance her research career. She has held different academic positions, from a research assistant to post-doctoral experience; working with multiple research technologies/tools, scientific environments, and in various research fields has allowed her to adjust to new and challenging environments, encouraging her analytical and problem-solving skills.
Diana delivered scientific and academic lectures as a researcher and has held a solid record of scientific publications and presentations done at major scientific conferences. Herein she also had the chance to mature her leadership skills, leading different students and various scientific projects.
She decided to enroll in this International MBA program to incorporate her research skills with recently acquired commercial awareness capabilities in the business field. Diana's professional features resulted from the combination of science and business areas, and aims to improve and challenge life sciences consultant field.
