José is a fair, analytical, and emphatic person who is determined to serve a high-level performance, building his career from down to up.

His professional career began about ten months after completing his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Administration when he integrated into the administrative and financial department (DAF) of Sonaecom SGPS companies in a shared services regime.

In 2008, José assumed the role of Controller of one of the leading departments of Optimus Comunicações, S.A., reporting directly to the area director, which presented an excellent opportunity for him to acquire a relevant degree of specialization in an area for the following five years.

With the communication of the merger between NOS and ZON in 2014, José accepted a challenge to step out even further of his comfort zone, integrate into the logistics team, and manage the planning, control, and reporting teams. Since then, it has been an escalation of challenges, new businesses, and personal and professional growth.

Some of his leading projects as PMO include the integration of processes and logistics teams from Optimus (Mobile) and ZON (Fixed), integration and migration of logistics operations from 3 warehouses to 1 unique, the Field Force Residential Management Merger team merger, and more, recently, the vertical integration of the support telephone lines' management.

José leads by example, being available to help his people make the best decisions, simultaneously managing six different teams with a total of about 40 employees and the NOS logistics operations centre’s logistics partner with over 200 employees.
