Marta Silva The International MBA
PRAGMATISM AND RESILIENCE AS KEY INGREDIENTS FOR SUCCESS
Marta is a people-oriented professional with natural insights into consumer analytics and a logical approach to efficient processes that drive results.
She worked in healthcare as a nutritionist, mainly for two years, in Centro Hospitalar de Gaia e Hospital da Luz, developing her strong communication and team player skills as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Additionally, since clinical nutrition is driven by results and patients' clinical status improvement, Marta's accountability, autonomy, and decision-making skills were particularly necessary throughout her career.
Later on, she moved to Ibersol (Food & Beverage Industry) to engage with the Food Product Development and Quality department for two years, becoming aware of the corporative environment while improving her management skills. On top of that, Marta served as the link between store needs, market operations, and the central structure: logistics, quality, and procurement departments. This experience equipped her to learn crucial technical knowledge of supply chain operations while improving her analytical and strategic thinking skills.
With a vast experience in the consistently innovative Food & Beverage market, Marta felt that she needed to update her skills even further and decided to enrol in this International MBA to focus on her training with a fearlessness to conquer her goals.
